Listen O' my good friend.
Do not carve me into stone,
Do not draft me into papers,
Do not sing me into songs,
And do no praise me either.
I am no good for 'em all.
But if you can then
remember me in there where it beats,
remember me for a pinch of salt,
remember me for a drop of rain,
remember me for a breath of air,
remember me as a friend.
No, not the best one I meant.
Yet remember me as best I am.
That is all that I hope,
For hope is all that I gave.

An Ode to My Shore
Sailing round for a year at sea,
arrived the same shore today,
with all love I carry alone.
Yet she bothers none,
same lines and same words,
just time changed and aged more.
To my glowing shore I said.
I said,"Darling I leave you again,
in hand of tides for this wish is yours.
Yet I pray as I say,
the blue of Sea will keep you safe,
the red of Sun will light your ways,
the white of Moon will watch your nights
and the green of Life will keep you alive.
Till I come back at this very shore.
Forgive me now, my Love.
And yes I will come again,
only a year more, only a year more."
So my ship sails once again
with more hope and faith,
to North Pole this time.
"To my North, Ahoy!!!Ahoy!!!
Ahoy!!! my men.
Turn, turn to my North", I said!
arrived the same shore today,
with all love I carry alone.
Yet she bothers none,
same lines and same words,
just time changed and aged more.
To my glowing shore I said.
I said,"Darling I leave you again,
in hand of tides for this wish is yours.
Yet I pray as I say,
the blue of Sea will keep you safe,
the red of Sun will light your ways,
the white of Moon will watch your nights
and the green of Life will keep you alive.
Till I come back at this very shore.
Forgive me now, my Love.
And yes I will come again,
only a year more, only a year more."
So my ship sails once again
with more hope and faith,
to North Pole this time.
"To my North, Ahoy!!!Ahoy!!!
Ahoy!!! my men.
Turn, turn to my North", I said!
